Kalinga Motorsports Club in association with Autosports India and FMSCI (Federation of Motorsports Club of India) is organizing the Mega ATV Championship 2016 to be held from 4th to 7th March, 2016 at Bhubaneswar, India. The event will focus on areas of real-life challenges and disaster management using All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV’s), Engineering Design, Manufacturing, Racing and utility based competition in which participant Teams from all over the country has to design and then fabricate an ATV and use it to serve for mankind.
The event would be the first of its kind in India and would be at par with competition standards of USA, UK, Australia, Germany, Japan & Austria. The aim of Mega ATV Championship is to promote good engineering practices in manufacturing of off-road and ATV (All-Terrain Vehicle) for students by providing a platform where they can learn to design, manufacture and understand the utility of such vehicles. Apart from sporting, the event aims to educate the people and spread awareness regarding the wide application of such versatile vehicles for Disaster Management and accessing rough terrains.
Visitor Profile
Mega ATV Championship is expected to attract 4,000 – 6,000 participants from all across the country with an approximate size of 200 delegates, academicians and Industry experts. FMSCI is expected to bring a large contingent from Motorsports fraternity the event. A cross section of future technocrats, scientists, researchers, leaders and captains of industry & mobility professionals from every conceivable segment of automotive industry including members of academia.
